SUNDAY - ​Last Sunday of Each Month from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. - La Table Jeunesse at NuNu's - Director Rebecca Lanclos invites students ages 7 - 17 (Adult must accompany) to an afternoon of games, activities and socializing for area students of French language, whether immersion or second language.  It offers an opportunity to meet with others once a month and to practice your language skills.

MONDAY - ​Each Monday Evening - Learn by doing! Fiddle Class with Blake Miller at Tom's Fiddle & Bow p.m.  

​TUESDAY - ​Le Village Gaulois - Director Candide Wyble presents French Education Classes at NuNu's - 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Cost $5

​WEDNESDAY - Allons ​Lire a la Poste Avec Director  Noa Zhivago

THURSDAY MORNING - ​La Table Française Chez J. M. Michael Morrow Nursing - Director Mavis Arnaud Frugé, the fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. brings much joy to the residents. 

THURSDAY AFTERNOON - Les Coudre Points Textile Collective at NuNu's

Quilting En Francais Chez NUNU - 1:30 p.m. - Director Loretta Bourque - Quilting - Crocheting - Knitting - Tatting - Talk - Snack - Speak and Learn some French.  It's the Textile Collective, free and open to the public.

​FRIDAY NIGHT - French Sing Along - Pot Luck on the last Friday of the monthat NuNu's

SATURDAY - Always the last Saturday of the month - La Table Française d'Arnaudville​ - Director Mavis Arnaud Frugé - A multi-generational function. Join us on the last Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Expect to learn more French and experience fun activities. ​

​​YOUTH EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS - Mural: C.A. Guidry Produce is the location of the Mural Project where children learn to identify fruit and vegetables in French. This cross generational approach benefits children and adults.

​UNIVERSITY IMMERSION  

  • LSU sur les Deux Bayous, every year in May, is just one of the University Immersion projects. 

  • LSU Ubaye Projects where LSU students visit Arnaudville in preparation for a visit to France and the Ubaye Valley.

  • Indiana University and New York University students spend a week in March in Arnaudville to experience the culture and the French language.

L'EXPÉRIENCE SOIXANTE-DIX - Adults who have spoken French all of their lives but never learned to read will learn to read children's books in French. Sponsored by Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.
